The translation of the Mass which we currently use is going to change from the beginning of September.
The Bishop has sent us this pastoral letter.
Over the coming months there will be plenty of opportunities provided for people to learn more about the new translation and become familiar with the changes. A number of day and evening sessions will be arranged for those who would like to find out more, as well as specific sessions for those involved in e.g. music.
The coming of the new translation is a great opportunity for us all to learn more about the Mass and deepen our understanding of the liturgy and its meaning and relevance for us in our lives today.

Why do we need a new translation?
Does that mean that our present Mass has been wrong?
What is different in the 3rd edition?

Why are biblical influences important?
But I’m a welcomer, not a reader. Why should this affect me?
Will I need to change anything I do?
So what else do I need to know?
